Hello!

WeThePeopleNYC is a mutual aid collective of neighbors supporting neighbors. We operate in Bed Stuy and Harlem, but we aim to be a catalyst for mutual aid efforts in surrounding communities. Leading with love, mutualism, and reciprocity, we are committed to providing everything we can for our neighborhoods as we organize and build networks of care together. Every week for over two years, we've been serving hot meals and providing clothing, materials, information, and produce to our communities.

This is where you come in: in order to maximize our impact and continue to do as much as we can, we are fundraising to purchase a van to transport everything to our distribution sites as well as take on more projects. This would also allow us to reallocate the funds we currently spend on transportation toward more resources for the community and help make these efforts more efficient and easier. At present, we are struggling to sustain ourselves without a van.
