The Andry Family is "Expecting" again through
the Miracle and Love of Adoption -

Many of you will remember that our story began in 2004. It was then that Steve and I chose to abandon the traditional way to grow a family and adopt. Our decision was three-fold. Yes, there were the typical infertility and age issues, with both of those linked together, but we also had huge hearts for orphaned children. While perfectly part of God's plan, it wasn't as important to us to bring a child into the world. What was more important to us was that we parent a child who already existed and needed a loving mom and dad to nurture and guide them. At that time, we didn't know anything about adoption, nor did we have the faintest idea where to look for our first child. After meeting with other adoptive families, attending adoptive culture events and much, much prayer Steve and I felt convinced that our children would come from China.
Deciding the "where" was actually fun. It was the more serious question of "how" that frightened us. With our first adoption, we didn't even have the application fee of $250.00, let alone the thousands that would follow. After stepping out in faith, our first miracle came in the form of a check for $250.00 from friends who said they wanted to be a part of our daughter's adoption and build into our family in a very rea. Incredible. Their generosity impacted us forever. And, the generosity of others around us didn't end there. Our family is indebted to dozens just like these friends who have, with each of our three adoptions, provided monetary donations, adoption fees, baby furniture, toys, clothing, garage sale donations, childcare, and so much more.
Adoption fees are enormous giants that every adoptive family faces ($34,000.00 current total) but we know in faith, from His Word and from our own experience, that God will provide. We've stepped away from the shadow of the giant to look ahead at what is to come...and who is to come...home that is. It is not permitted that we share his picture here, but let us tell you, he is one adorable little man! We welcome and thank you in advance for your prayers and support.
