In Loving Memory of Antonie Hilliard: Support for his Daughters.
On May 8, 2025, our lives changed forever. Our beloved son, Antonie Hilliard, a single father of two beautiful girls (18 & 6), left work early to move his daughter out of her college apartment to move back home with him after her freshman year at Ole Miss. They had a summer full of big plans.
Those plans were tragically cut short when a driver, while on her cell phone speeding down the road, ran straight through a 4-way stop, killing him instantly. He was less than one mile from home, and this devastating footage was caught on camera.
Antonie was taken from us far too soon, and our hearts are forever broken beyond words.
Antonie was only 42 years old - a child of God, a PROUD, DEDICATED, AND COMMITTED father, a military veteran, one who was connected to the community, volunteered, and loved to serve God through loving his people. He was the first in our family to go to a university, the first to serve in the military (Army), and the first to travel and live overseas. He inspired all of us to dream big, challenge ourselves, and accomplish goals beyond perceived limitations. He was very loving, kind, and caring, and he displayed the love of God as he genuinely loved people. Everyone loves him, and we are devastated by his loss.
He never met a stranger and loved spending time with people from all walks of life. His presence brought joy to everyone who knew him, and his loss leaves a void that can never be filled on this earth, but brings joy in his new home in Heaven.
We are starting this fundraiser to help cover the unexpected costs and loss of support that his two daughters will face as a result of his untimely death. Any funds raised will also help with legal expenses as we seek justice for this senseless and avoidable tragedy.
No parent should ever have to bury a son. No child should have to lose a father this soon. No family should have to endure this pain as a result of a completely avoidable tragedy.
If you can, please consider donating and sharing this link. Also, please continue to bombard Heaven with prayers. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support.
Thank you for standing with our family during this devastating time.
With love,
The Hilliard Family
