We need your help to donate 500 (NOW 1000! - raising it again to 2000) masks to the underserved.
I’ve just finishing sewing face masks for some friends and family.
But sadly, a huge portion of society might not be as lucky to have a sewing machine, let alone have the money or resources to get masks for themselves or their family.
More people have filed for unemployment in recent weeks than the 50 years I’ve been alive.
With my skills and manufacturing resources I know I wanted to jump in and supply this small but life-saving resource to the people who need them the most.
But, I need your help pay for these high-quality masks.
My company Très Mimi has always used a portion of our sales to supply underwear to women in shelters fleeing domestic abuse.
At the start of the Covid outbreak, our main shelter, Wings, called us.
They were in dire straits.
They had to move their families and they needed food, medical and cleaning supplies.
We answered that call and proudly depleted all our funds to help a partner in need.
But we MUST do more – because we have the manufacturing resources and suppliers to help.
Now, we need you, our friends, neighbors, and associates to pledge whatever you can.
Making masks with clean fabrics in a socially responsible way is expensive.
It will cost $5-$6/mask.
First and foremost, we will donate masks to any hospital around the country asking for them.
Too often, these are the hospitals that don’t make the news, or have the resources for 3M N95 masks – like large institutions.
Organizations like getppe.org list hundreds of hospitals such as these that still need cotton masks for volunteers and low-income patient outreach.
Locally, we will be distributing masks to all the retail outlets that have stayed open.
Workers at food stores, restaurants, pharmacy, gas stations, etc all deserve masks for free.
These brave community members go to work so we have food and basic needs.
With as little as $20 we can supply masks to a family of four.
For a donation of $50, we could supply grocery baggers at an entire store.
With $100 we could supply an entire clinic in under-served community, hit hard by Covid.
Join our campaign today by clicking yes – and donating whatever you can.
Share our plea on all your social media and with your friends and family.
Visit us on our website, Instagram & Facebook to see our progress.
Together, we will fight this nasty Covid.
And, as we believe at Très Mimi, you’ll feel good in knowing you’ve done good.
