Andrew Patton college fund

Andrew Patton, a former Marine, a proud father, son, brother and husband, was a friend to many of us. His wit, his endurance and his loyalty are qualities that defined Andrew throughout his life. Like Leonidas during the 2nd Persian war, the world has few like them. Andrew exemplified a Spartan warrior, he was the Alpha leader.
To those of us close to Andrew, we remember a guy who had it all even when he was young. Andrew had the gift, the great girl friends, the roughness around the edges, his tough friends. Andrew stood tall amongst it all.
In the early years, that hard work paid off in many ways. A good example in high school was on the wrestling mats. His high school coach Tom Borelli, saw in Andrew, a kid who was tough enough, committed enough to be a leader on his team. And that he was.
In college, as a PKA, Andrew endeared himself to his fraternity brothers again with Humor including some legendary sarcasm, which made Andrew the life of the party. Many fun times ensued with a Patton in the house, including older brother Matt. You just couldn't predict the chaos with those 2 in tow.
As a family man, Andrew was relaxed, committed and somewhat a home body. His kids adored him, Michelle took care of him and he stood strong and made them all laugh. At work, Andrew was again, solid, stood out, did his job and made many friends.
Honor, Courage, Integrity - these are just a few of the virtues Andrew Patton exemplified on a daily basis and were obvious in the way he lived his life.

On August 4, 2015, Andrew passed away peacefully in the loving presence of his family following a brief and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

In honor of Andrew, a fund has been established for the people in Andrew's life that he cherished the most: his adoring wife Michelle and precious children Maycee and Matthew.
