My name is Samuel Guillen. I have made this fundraiser on my aunt's behalf to try to get her the support she needs.

This year has been a year full of hardship and tragedy for the Carpenter family. Starting with my Uncle Kelley losing his job at the beginning of this year due to job cuts. This event took a major toll on the family, making them struggle to make ends meet, and with his age, it proved very difficult to find a job. In addition, he was already dealing with health issues, and this only worsened his condition.

On Saturday, November 29th, the tragedy occurred. After a perfect Thanksgiving days prior, the days following led to my uncle's passing. The ambulance was called but unfortunately too late, resulting in my uncle's passing while lying in bed.

Today, she is now confronted with the challenge of raising two amazing children on her own, and we ask you all to find it within your heart to support my aunt during these difficult times.

My uncle was loved by many and generated too many smiles to count. No donation is too small, and even a simple prayer is greatly appreciated. The funds raised here today will be utilized to pay for living essentials as well as any support needed to help her family succeed.
