Bye-bye Millers Taqueria

Hi everyone,

As you may have heard, the Millers are moving to Korea in a couple months. They are moving out of Boston late June, spending some time with family, and then moving to Korea mid-July. Adam and Grace had been praying over this decision for over 6 months and finally decided to make the move because they felt strongly that God was calling them there.

With three kids that are so young, every day can be tough for Adam and Grace even with a solid community like ours, jobs that allow them to work from home, and a home of their own in Watertown. But by faith, they are choosing to let all of this go and enter uncharted territories--from learning Korean to embracing a new culture, to accepting different education systems, to fighting against many social stigmas in Korea, and to sharing their faith with one of the most atheist countries.

But from Boston Gridiron Classic to Boston Autumn Festival, to Fight Clubs and Wives' and Husbands' CG, to LT meetings and Children's Ministry Core Meetings, to All-Church Retreat small groups and many, many other conversations between... we know the Millers have always had a heart for outreach and stepped out of their comfort zone multiple times to love and serve others and to give God all the glory. We know their efforts in serving and many times being the glue of our community, and God knows it too. No matter how hard it gets, we know and God knows the Millers will persevere and love and serve others well.

With their last days in Boston numbered, I have been thinking of ways we can come together to love and honor them as we send them off. I figure this might be the most practical and tangible way, as they will likely have high moving expenses. Even if you can give as little as $10, please consider giving so you can participate and write them a short message!

For the message/comment, please share something you are thankful for (e.g. thank you for serving!) and also something you want to roast the Millers for (e.g. no thank you for making fun of my gullibility - yes that's a word). This is how the Millers talk to each other, especially Adam and Grace to Titus because he does a lot of things that gets him in trouble. So they say "no thank you Titus, sit back down" but lately Leah likes saying it whenever you do something she doesn't like. :)

Please let me know if you have any questions! This is a surprise so please do not mention it to the Millers, not even Nomi. We will reveal it to them mid-June so you can give until then!
