The BYC Wild West & Back Challenge 2024

Belvedere Youth Club is Ireland's oldest youth service, exploring the potential and providing services for young people in Dublin's North Inner City.

From their premises on Lower Buckingham Street (Dublin 1), they offer a range of services to young disadvantaged people from the local area aged between 7-24. They help their members build self-confidence, become more resourceful, and find their voice.

It is a charity that has been close to my heart since I attended Belvedere College, which has a historical link with the BYC, and one I have worked with intermittently since leaving school.

A bunch of old school friends are attempting to cycle 3 separate routes, covering approximately 400km over a long weekend in mid-September again this year, having completed the BYC 4 Provinces cycle in 2022 and 2023.
