Entering the second year and still no baby, they decided it was time to start getting answers. They saw their doctor, who ran multiple tests. All the results showed that everything was in working order so they should not have had any problems getting pregnant. Another six months passed, but the negative sign on the pregnancy tests never changed.
In the spring of 2014, after two and a half years, Bryce and Sonya made the decision to see a fertility specialist. More tests were run and more positive results came back. Nothing new was found. There was no explanation or easy fix. The fertility specialist presented them with two different options of treatment and the success rate for each one. Now that three full years have passed, they have made the decision to pursue In Vitro Fertilization.
The success rate of IVF for young couples, such as Bryce and Sonya, makes it the best option over alternative treatments. However, it is overwhelmingly expensive. This is where you can help. They are doing everything within their power to save and raise money for this procedure. The infertility road is long, emotionally difficult, and often times lonely. It is also a very costly road to travel. They should not have to do it alone. They have already waited three years for a child to enter their home; please, help end their wait.
