Shane and Jaclyn were involved in a serious car accident which resulted in multiple injuries and surgeries. Due to these circumstances their family could greatly benefit from the community coming together to support the expenses of taking time from work to be together and to heal. With multiple fractured vertebrae and broken arms, their healing process will be a difficult road. Let’s help them have one less thing to worry about so that they can focus on the care they need to heal.
The following report is from their accident:
“Kings District RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Cambridge.
On September 19, at approximately 6 p.m., RCMP officers, fire services, and EHS, responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Hwy. 101 between exits 14 and 15. Officers learned that a Toyota Yaris travelling west and a Honda Pilot travelling east had collided head on.
The lone occupant of the Toyota, a 30-year-old man from New Brunswick, sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital by EHS LifeFlight, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The occupants of the Honda, a 47-year-old man and a child, both from Kings County, sustained serious injuries and were transported to hospital by EHS.“
