On January 28, 2026, my sister, brother-in-law, our mom, and my two nieces lost their home in a house fire. In a single moment, everything they knew as home was gone.

My brother-in-law is a U.S. Army veteran. My sister works for the Miami County Health Department. Our mom worked from their home in healthcare. They are people who have always shown up for others, and now they are facing the unimaginable together.
