Help Save Our Baby Girl

Gabriella Juliana “Gabby” is a two-month old baby diagnosed with Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome (CNS), a rare kidney disorder that started soon after birth.  The majority of CNS cases are caused by genetic defects and usually appear later in the first year of life.  Doctors have informed us that a kidney transplant is the ONLY treatment.

Baby Gabby has been in the hospital (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) for 23 days now and needs dialysis every 30 minutes.  She also has a ventilator to assist her breathe, urinary catheter to help urinate, and a gastric tube for feeding.  According to her doctors, Gabby needs to stay in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit because she can no longer breathe on her own, nurses need to administer dialysis and medication.

In order to treat Gabby’s illness, she will need to have a kidney transplant.  Before she can have the transplant, her weight needs to be 10 kilos and have a kidney donor.  It will be a long process, but we cannot give up! Gaby is a fighter; she is an angel sent to us by God.  We, her parents will do everything we can for her.  Please help us in praying for Gabby’s healing. 

Gabby is still in a CRITICAL situation right now, there are times when she gets better and there are times when she feels weak.  We, as parents are so proud of how brave our child Gabby has been.  There are still so many tests left to do to extend her life.  It breaks our hearts as parents every time the doctor says, “Gabby might not be able to handle all the treatment”.
