HELP US MOVE - SAVE KNVC!
Tax deductible
UPDATE: As it turns out, we can’t, and no longer think we should, Buy the House. It's the birthplace of KNVC, our home for 8 years now. But its 103 years old and the reality we are facing is that we are on too short a timeline to raise the necessary funds to both purchase and remediate the issues such an old structure accumulates over the decades.
As a result, The End of the Trail Broadcast Project 501c3, dba 95.1 KNVC, is now faced with the necessity of a move, away from our home in the historic Adams House, and its gonna cost us a bundle. Not as big a bundle as the buy, but a bundle, nonetheless.
The funds already raised thanks to the generosity of our community will be repurposed for this facility move, but the need still remains, and we must close the funding gap. We ask you for your help in this important endeavor.
Aside from the great programing we broadcast thanks to our ever-growing cadre of volunteer producers and creators, 95.1 KNVC is the FCC sanctioned emergency information hub for the Carson Region in the event of a disaster. You’ll make a real and lasting difference in the long-term safety of our community and keep the music, news and unique perspectives that connect and inform us vibrant and on-going with a contribution to our capital campaign right now. Thank you for considering us for a tax-deductible donation today.
HISTORY: KNVC 95.1 FM, Carson City’s only radio station has been serving the Carson City Community since March of 2017. In November 2017, through the generosity of Carson Tahoe Hospital and the Brewery Arts Center, KNVC moved its broadcasting studio to the Adams House, a historic building in downtown Carson City.
From our initial broadcast, KNVC volunteers have created our programming to serve all aspects of our broad community. It has come to pass that Carson Tahoe now has a need to sell the Adams House location on Minnesota Street in Carson City where KNVC currently broadcasts.
