Hi my name is Ken Fuller . I recently lost my wife to cancer after the news of they could do no more for her Her wishes was to end her time at home her name was katrina. As this was her wish prospect end of life took over from the NHS to make her time at home as comftable as can be ...These nurses are angels there's no words I could ever say that would thank them enough...the home care team night nurses ect were amazing and the care they gave my wife was beyond anything .They became part of our family . So recently I have donated a bench in memory of my wife to the memorial garden in the prospect hospice grounds.Doing so I have found out everything they do is based on donations...talking to the volunteers there I was sad to hear they are struggling to upkeep the memorial garden with plants and safety equipment around the ponds. There are hundreds of memorial stones laid as a path in what the call bluebell walk it's a beautiful place to sit and remember our lost ones . I would like to raise enough money to plant the grounds so they will look beautiful all year round and provide a fence and safety equipment around the pond for insurance purposes...and if there's enough a few more benches for people to sit and remember loved ones ...everything that goes into this hospice is donated but its not enough. I never thought I'd ever have to use one of these places my wife was 48 years old and cancer took her away from me so quick . I can't thank the nurses and the teams enough but if I can do this for a thankyou from my wife and myself with people's help of donations it will not only be a thankyou from us but from all the families that have had to use this wonderful place and for families and people in the future . ❤️
