Hi, my name is Yvonne and I’m based in the UK. I’m fundraising for the Daniel Foundation, an orphanage in Bugiri, Uganda, that cares for 24 children as young as 2 years old.

Since September 2022, I have been supporting them with donations and raising awareness. As a parent, I believe every child deserves a chance for a better future, access to food, and a safe place to grow. I speak with Daniel, the founder, every week to stay updated on the orphanage's situation.

Currently, the orphanage is struggling to provide enough food for the children. Some are crying from hunger, especially the little ones. They don’t even have mattresses to sleep on. Additionally, the orphanage has other bills to pay, such as rent, electricity, and occasional hospital fees.

They also cannot afford to send any of the children to school, which costs about £50 per child for school fees, books, and uniforms. This is why we desperately need your help!

With your support, we can raise enough money to provide not just food but also the opportunity for each child to attend the local school, giving them hope for the future!
