Buy Finn a defibrillator

Hi, we’re raising money for our adorable mini-me Finn. He turned one in December and has a condition which causes him to have seizures. These episodes have begun increasing in frequency and duration and the last one required resuscitation. Worryingly, the cause of his seizures is still unknown and so we face the daunting prospect of more tests, hospital visits and uncertainty of what will happen when the next one hits. As you can imagine, this is a terribly exhausting, stressful and worrying for all the family, but is especially scary and confusing for Finn. So that Finn can go about his life as normally as possible, we’d like to raise funds to purchase two defibrillators and pay for the necessary training so that if Finn has an episode at home or at nursery, the staff and his family can provide the care he needs before emergency services arrive. This kit is very expensive and so in addition to this page, we are also holding a fundraiser at The Clifton Arms, Blackburn, on Saturday 2nd April. For more details, please see my Facebook page. ***Update - we’ve had some corporate interest in our gorgeous boy who have offered to help with training and providing child specific pads (most public defibs only stock adult ones), so we’ve upped our goal to cover most of the cost of the two machines.
