Hi Barry here a local volunteer and as most of you will know over the past few years I have been trying to clean up our estate Ferguslie Park. I'm out weeding, cleaning up checking the area for fly tipping, cutting back overgrown trees and bushes and also cutting grass in some of our open areas which Renfrewshire Council don't touch or will only cut 3 times in the growing season. As people will be aware of we are paying more and more in council tax but getting less and less each year. I would like to get a ride-on to help maintain more areas within the estate especially Glencoats Park which the council don't do a very good job of cutting the grass never mind anything else. I never have asked our community for anything and normally buy most of my own tools but this is out of my reach of as it is a large amount of money.
