I am supporting children with special needs in rural eastern Uganda through the Hidden People Project by New Dawn International.

In rural Uganda, many individuals with disabilities are kept out of sight, hidden at home. The lack of societal infrastructure for this group means that basic support is minimal, making it challenging for them and their families to thrive. The project’s goals include building a respite centre for temporary support, coordinating much-needed medical visits, and supplying essential resources to uplift the quality of life for both individuals and their families. They need access to transport to make this happen.

I will be joining a group of other volunteers on a 20km walk to raise funds to buy a van for these children to access much needed support on 28th June 2025.

As a Kenyan, I am honoured to help my neighbour Uganda and I invite you to give generously to get these children the much needed minivan.
