We are just two fireboxes away from equipping the entire Canyon with critical fire -fighting equipment. The boxes cost $1544 (including shipping) each. There are also a few remaining items such as nozzles and couplings that we need to complete the project, which will cost a total of $2750. The total cost for the additional equipment is

BACKGROUND

This project was conceived in 2021 after the fire, and has been funded by a special assessment and generous private donations. Some members paid for their fireboxes and equipment as a contribution to the Canyon. The project was wholly done with volunteer hard and sweaty labor by Canyon residents. This kept costs down; however, inflation and shipping costs have left us just shy of our goal.
