It's been about 4 years since we began trying to start our family.  It's been about 3 years since we started pursuing medical help to achieve this dream.  Throughout this time, we have run into so many obstacles- medical, emotional, and financial.  We have been through countless appointments, tests, procedures, pills, shots, and even surgery on our pursuit to start our family, none of which is cheap.  Month after month of heartbreak and disappointment has taken it's toll, but we remain optimistic, as do our doctors.  We've been told with confidence, that with InVitro Fertilization (IVF), we have a drastically increased chance at success.  IVF will bypass all our problem areas which will hopefully be the key to fulfilling our dream of having a child.

While the optimism of IVF is wonderful, it comes at a substantial financial cost, the majority of which our insurance will not cover.  We have done everything we can short of IVF thus far- to no avail.  The frustration felt knowing that for most people, the cost to create life is nothing cannot be understated.  However, we are determined to figure this out and do everything possible to realize our dream. 

This is where you come in.  We simply cannot afford to pay for IVF on our own.  We know that you, our family and friends, have supported us and our goal and we hope that you will consider supporting us in just one more way.  Anything you can contribute to this fund would be endlessly appreciated.  We also know that the timing of all this is less than ideal, but sometimes that's just how life works.

We have put together this video to both entertain and inform.  The entertainment (hopefully) comes from us channeling our inner Paul Simon and Chevy Chase... The informational part is all about how desperately we want to be parents and how we'll do anything (including sing and dance for  you) in order to make that dream a reality.  We re-wrote this classic song for our future child, a way to tell them about how they came to be, and that they were surrounded by love and support even before they existed.  It's both a request for help and a thank you.
