Burton SA - House fire

Hi, my name is Karen & just over a week ago my partner (Martin's) house at Burton SA completely burnt down due to an electrical fault in the roof. Due to the sound of the roof tiles falling on the timber truses which woke him up. Martin thought someone had broken into his home. Upon opening his bedroom door & realising the roof was on fire he had to get out quick before the roof collapsed. Scaling the fence & running out with just a robe, keys, and his phone he found refuge in his neighbours front yard & watched the complete destruction of everything he's worked for go up in flames. All the memories, gone.

Anyone that knows Martin would appreciate how meticulous he is & how house proud he was of his home. Martin had several amazing collections of precious & treasured items he had been collecting since childhood, all of which have perished in this fire. Martin is struggling to comprehend the extent of his loss, from family memories & one-of-a-kind keepsakes to his drum set, Indian motorbike and life long dream of owning an adored vintage 1980 Corvette, all of this was lost in the fire.

Now as he attempts to rebuild his life & sense of identity, im putting together this 'go fund me page' to assist him in some small way.

Its a relatively small idea in the hope that it will assist him in the next chapter of rebuilding some things he can replace.
