Burpees For Alex

Alex has become a friend who I met at the soup kitchen volunteering.

He is one of the most patient, kind, and hard working individuals I have ever met. Back in December, his wife unexpectedly died. You wouldn't know he had been through the incident because of the attitude he chooses to come to work with every day- which is one of positivity, gentleness, and determination to get the job done no matter how many hours it means because he says he has no choice. His kids are his world and they need him to be there and support them.

Alex has not been able to take off a single day of work for grieving purposes, spending time with his kids, or just for the sake of taking off.

I'm hoping to raise as much money as I can to write Alex a check at the end of the month and let him know to take a day off and spend it with his kids, do something fun, and put the rest of the money in savings in order to help further their education.

For every dollar that is donated, I have vowed (and am being held accountable by my gym community, Frequency Fitness!) to do one burpee. I will complete these burpees with a team of 3 other individuals helping me bust these burpees out for a good cause and for our well-being!

Every donation is hugely appreciated.
