We are a simple family from Gaza — my wife, our two young daughters, and I. We once dreamed of a peaceful future, a quiet life like any other family. A small home to shelter us, the sound of our children’s laughter filling the rooms, and a table with just enough food to live with dignity.
But the war in Gaza shattered everything.
In a single moment, our home was gone. Our memories buried beneath the rubble. We are now without shelter, without daily bread, and without any sense of safety. The sound of bombs echoes around us, and at night, my daughters cry and ask me, “Where is our home? When will the war end?”
This war has drained us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We are no longer the same. Each day is a battle to survive to find food, to find clean water, to find a moment of silence.
We are not asking for much… only to live in peace.
