Bungoma Outreach Project

Hi

My name is Trish Power and I am one of a team of 30 people travelling to Bungoma, Kenya in October as part of an outreach programme. We will be working with the NGO Core Health & Wealth International undertaking various projects.

Some of the projects that we will be working on include: Construction of a secure home for teenage mothers and their babies, Design & build safe cots and playpens for babies, Repair school floors, build sturdy chairs & tables for classrooms, build vegetable boxes and teach essential skills in growing fruit and vegetables. Our goal is to provide not only the manpower but also the equipment and tools needed to ensure the success of the project but more importantly to ensure that the work is capable of being continued long after we leave.

Each of our delegates are hoping to raise at least €5,000 to support these and other meaningful community projects in the area.
