Hi I'm Mattie. My family and I grew up listening to our father speak about giving
to Others for most of our childhood and adulthood lives. In fact, it was his church Mission Statement. His heart for local and international philanthropic missions is still with us to this day.
We are picking up his mantle for Others and hosting our first Warm in the Winter Initiative. We have also adopted the name OTHERS as our organization's name. As of now, we are a group formed to assist with supplying life's basic needs to local and internationally marginalized communities. Those are...
* Food. Through donations and Agricultural training
* Water. Through Creating Water Solutions. Both Short Term and Long Term.
*Shelter and Street Resources. Through short and long term partnerships with Independent Housing Developers and the Global community.
This Go Fund Me is specifically designed to aid the Transient Community. Also commonly known as the Homeless Community. Our mission for this initiative is to supply 300 Transient community members with Backpacks for the winter. These backpacks will be equipped with the necessary items that will keep them bundled up and warm in the colder months.
THE BACK PACK WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
1 sleeping bag
Gloves
Scarf
Socks
Winter Hat
Hand Warmers
Foot Warmers
