I am running for City Council in Colonial Heights, VA because I believe our city deserves leadership that truly listens and responds to the needs of its people. Over time, I’ve seen a growing disconnect between the City Council and the daily lives of our residents. While I know our current leaders have good intentions, I feel that the voices of everyday people are not being heard as clearly as they should be. I want to change that by restoring open communication and building a stronger sense of unity throughout our community.

My commitment is to visit every home in the voting area—over 8,000 households and hundreds of apartments—so I can hear directly from you about your concerns, hopes, and ideas for Colonial Heights. I want to make sure everyone has a chance to share what matters most to them. I’ve seen too many good people leave our city because they felt unheard or dissatisfied with its direction. I want to help create a city where families, neighbors, and future generations can thrive and feel proud to call home.

The funds raised through this campaign will help me reach more people and bring our community together. I plan to use your support for outreach materials like door hangers, building community sounding boards where residents can share their thoughts, organizing town hall meetings, and hosting neighborhood events that foster relationships between residents and local organizations like police and fire departments. I also want to support community cleanups and school beautification projects. If I am successful, I will host a public celebration to thank everyone for their support—and even if I don’t win, I promise to keep attending city council meetings and advocating for your concerns.
