This didn’t come from theory. It came from lived experience. I didn’t learn love because it was freely given to me.
I learned love through its absence.
In the silence… in the spaces where something should have been and wasn’t, I had to become my own source. And every now and then, there were people who poured into me when they didn’t have to... and those moments mattered.
They showed me that even a small amount of care can change the direction of a life.
So I paid attention.
I made a decision that what I lacked would not be what I give.
That decision became The Inner Sanctum.
Right now, we are building the foundation.
Before there’s a physical space, before there’s a permanent location... there has to be community, structure, and intention.
The Inner Sanctum is focused on creating accessible spaces for art, healing, and real human connection through poetry, music, visual art, workshops, community conversations, and hands-on experiences that help people reconnect with themselves and each other.
This is where the groundwork is laid.
The vision is to eventually expand into a physical space and creative hub where open mics, art classes, gardening education, healing sessions, and community gatherings can live under one roof.
But first, we build what makes that space meaningful.
Funds raised will go toward developing programming, securing temporary and pop-up spaces, gathering materials and resources, and building a strong, sustainable foundation that can grow into something permanent.
This isn’t just about opening a place.
This is about building something real from the ground up, something that pours back into the community in a way that can be felt.
By supporting this, you’re not just contributing to an idea... you’re helping lay the foundation for a space where people can be seen, supported, and connected.
Every contribution, share, and word of encouragement brings this vision closer to life.
Let’s build something the community can actually feel.
