About Talking Taiwan
Talking Taiwan is the longest running Taiwan-related podcast. Since 2013, Talking Taiwan has been sharing stories connected to Taiwan and Taiwan’s global community. Podcast guests have included award-winning authors, scientists, entrepreneurs, activists, and intriguing individuals. The podcast aims to create a better awareness and understanding of Taiwan.
The show is co-produced by Talking Taiwan’s host Felicia Lin and sound engineer/webmaster Kaju Roberto.
Who We Are
Felicia Lin is an award-winning podcast host and producer, a second generation Taiwanese-American and Taiwanese-Canadian, one of the founders of ITASA (Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Students Association), and is working on the biography of the late Taiwanese revolutionary Su Beng (史明).
Felicia is also recognized as a leading social media influencer. One of her quotes has been listed as number 25 of “43 of the Best Social Media Marketing Quotes ,” alongside Jeff Bezos, Sir Richard Branson, Neil Patel, Gary Vaynerchuck, Kim Garst, and Matt Cutts.
Kaju Roberto is a Hawaiian-born award-winning podcast producer, musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and filmmaker. He is the founder of the band Rad Jet which will be releasing its debut album "96 Guns" in Summer 2022. He was the cameraman and interviewer of Felicia’s first YouTube video about Su Beng (史明).

Our Vision
We are proud to be a Golden Crane Podcast Award Winner and the longest running Taiwan-related podcast and want to keep it that way for years to come.
We plan to expand by:
• Sharing written transcripts for each episode in English and a Chinese translated version
• Conducting our operations in both the U.S. and Taiwan
• Updating needed equipment to meet the challenges we are facing to serve our ever-growing fan base
• Growing the podcast by covering a wider range of issues globally e.g. Europe-related news
• Having funds to pay for a translator or research assistance
• Having funds to pay for increasing overhead
• Incorporating Talking Taiwan as a 501(3)(c) or hybrid
• Developing streams of revenue for Talking Taiwan
• Building a sustainable infrastructure to assure the long-term legacy of the podcast
