The Healing Journey is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization from Yuma that provides support for trauma survivors of all ages. The Building Strong Children program helps young people develop healthy coping skills through counseling in addition to supplying them with clothing and school supplies. This program has been a crucial part of our vision since the organization began and is currently in its fifteenth year.

We strive to make our programs as accessible as possible. Unfortunately, state and federal budget cuts have placed this program in danger of no longer being available. This fundraiser is our best chance to save the Building Strong Children Program. We are humbly asking that you help us reach our goal in order breathe new life into a program with a proven track record.
