Building a School in Ghana - July 2025

Hi, I’m Mattea. In July I will be travelling to a small village in Ghana, Africa to spend 5 weeks volunteering with the Lasallian Projects Charity to build a school.

The Lasallian Projects Charity organises projects that help to develop educational facilities in poorer, more challenging areas of the world.

By joining the Lasallian Project in Ghana, I hope to make a meaningful difference to the lives of some of the less priveledged children in our world. Whilst the project is funded by generous donations of the Lasallian Charity supporters, I will be raising funds towards my travel and five weeks’ stay in the local community where the project is based and would appreciate your support in contributing towards making this happen. Whether through donations, sharing my campaign or attending future fundraising events, it would be hugely appreciated by myself and the Lasallian Charity.

Helo, Mattea ydw i. Ym mis Gorffennaf byddaf yn teithio i bentref bach yn Ghana, Affrica i dreulio 5 wythnos yn gwirfoddoli gydag elusen ‘Lasallian Projects’ er mwyn adeiladu ysgol.

Mae ‘Lasallian Projects’ yn trefnu prosiectau sy'n cefnogi datblygu cyfleusterau addysgol mewn ardaloedd tlotach a heriol y byd.

Drwy ymuno â Phrosiect Lasallian yn Ghana, rwy’n gobeithio gwneud gwahaniaeth ystyrlon i fywydau rhai o’r plant lleiaf breintiedig ein byd. Tra bod y prosiect yn cael ei ariannu trwy roddion hael gan gefnogwyr elusen Lasallian, byddaf yn codi arian tuag at fy nghostau teithio a phum wythnos o arhosiad yn y gymuned leol lle mae’r prosiect wedi’i leoli. Byddaf yn gwerthfawrogi’n fawr y gefnogaeth at wneud i hyn ddigwydd, boed trwy roddion, rhannu fy ymgyrch neu fynychu digwyddiadau codi arian yn y dyfodol.
