North West STOP have been a lifeline for many people in our community over the past 21 years. They have saved many lives and supported thousands of individuals across the North West.

To meet the ever increasing demand for our services, in 2021 we purchased the Old Garda Station in Drumkeeran to give North West STOP permanent home.

This building will be a dedicated mental health support centre in Leitrim. This is a huge step forward in our mission to provide accessible, community-based mental health services — but we cannot do it alone.

North West STOP is proud to share that we have been awarded LEADER and PEACE funding to renovate the old Garda Station in Drumkeeran.

In order to avail of this funding, we must raise €100,000 in match funding. These vital funds will not only help us meet this requirement but will also allow us to hire staff — something we currently have no funding for at all. Without this support, the building may stand, but we won’t have the people needed to bring it to life.
