Build a Safe Haven: Help Us Create a Healing Community Center for Survivors

$20,000 to fund the launch of our first-ever Dying Inside Community Center—a trauma-informed sanctuary offering mental health support, animal therapy, gardening, art, and life skills classes for survivors of human trafficking and foster youth.

At Dying Inside Nonprofit, we believe that healing is possible, and that no one is for sale. Founded by survivor and advocate Rose Campbell, our organization helps survivors of human trafficking and youth aging out of foster care find healing, dignity, and purpose through therapeutic programs that truly transform lives.

Now, we’re ready to take the next step—and we need your help to build it.

The Vision

We are raising $50,000 to build our first community center:
A protected and peaceful sanctuary that will offer:
• Licensed mental health therapy rooms
• Animal-assisted therapy zones for emotional support and trust-building
• Gardening and agricultural healing spaces
• Life skills & financial literacy classrooms
• Art therapy studios for expression and restoration
• A place to feel safe, seen, and supported

This center will serve as a home base for our S.U.R.V.I.V.O.R. Program (Supporting Uplifted Recovery, Vital Independence, Veterinary Outreach & Renewal), where survivors receive care, counseling, and skills to rebuild their futures.

Why It Matters
• Human trafficking reports have been rising every year for the past 5 years.
• 60% of trafficking victims are from or were in foster care.
• Most survivors have nowhere safe to turn once they’ve exited exploitation.
• Traditional support systems are not trauma-informed and often retraumatize.

We’re building a solution—a place survivors can not only heal, but thrive.

Where the Money Goes

Your contribution helps fund:
• Renovations and safety features for the center
• Therapy room furniture and supplies
• Animal care equipment and enclosures
• Gardening beds, soil, and tools
• Classroom tech and curriculum materials
• Utilities and staffing to keep the doors open

Unlike many nonprofits that focus on rescue, we focus on what comes next.
At Dying Inside, we know that escape is just the beginning. The real journey begins after a survivor is rescued—when they’re left to rebuild a life from the ashes of trauma, abandonment, and exploitation. That’s why we created the S.U.R.V.I.V.O.R. Program: Supporting Uplifted Recovery, Vital Independence, Veterinary Outreach & Renewal. Through mental health support, animal therapy, gardening, and life skills education, we walk alongside survivors as they reclaim their strength, stability, and sense of self. Because true healing doesn’t happen overnight—but it can happen when someone finally feels safe enough to grow.
