BUILDING BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR NIGERIAN CHILDREN

MINEMATTERS FOUNDATION INCORPORATED is seeking revenue to fill 40-foot containers with essential clothing, educational toys, books, medicine, and computers—all vital elements that help ensure Nigerian students’ well-being, education, and development.

The contents of the containers will be distributed to each local community’s schools. But the impact of your donation won’t end there. The containers will be repurposed into classrooms for needy children, creating safe learning environments for each community’s students.

We're launching this collective effort to dramatically improve the lives of Nigeria’s next generation of nation-builders and world-changers.

Educational toys are far more than entertaining.

They are powerful tools for learning, growth, and development during early childhood. Providing a variety of toys stimulates children’s senses, encourages exploration and creativity, and supports social and emotional well-being to help them thrive and reach their full potential.

The Present Reality:

Nigerian children experience higher levels of poverty, which negatively affects their access to basic necessities including food, clothing, and healthcare. Poverty also limits their exposure to enrichment activities and extracurricular programs that contribute to childhood development.

HELP CHILDREN EXPERIENCE THE JOY OF CHILDHOOD LEARNING

Tablets and laptops give children access to educational content, digital textbooks, interactive learning apps, and educational videos.

Computer access can supplement traditional education and enhance learning opportunities, especially in areas where schools lack resources and/or qualified teachers.

TOO MANY NIGERIAN CHILDREN DIE OF POOR HYGIENE

Without proper hygiene, children can become desperately ill. Diarrhea, respiratory infections, and parasitic infections are common in Nigerian communities that lack adequate sanitation capabilities. Hygiene-deficiency-caused illnesses are particularly dangerous for young children whose immune systems aren’t fully developed, making them more susceptible to germs, viruses, and other life-threatening environmental conditions.

Among the most alarming effects of poor hygiene is its impact on childhood mortality rates. Tragically, many children in rural areas perish from easily preventable diseases that can be avoided simply by providing access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and basic hygiene education.
