Building Bridges for Better Lives - Rwanda 2025

Hi, I’m Claudia — a structural engineer based in Brisbane, Australia, and a firm believer in the power of bridges — not just as structures, but lifelines.

In 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to work with a not-for-profit called Bridges to Prosperity (B2P) to help build a trail bridge in a rural Rwandan community. This structure provides around 2,000 people safe, year-round access to schools, healthcare, and economic opportunities — something that wasn’t possible before due to a dangerous river crossing during the rainy seasons.

The gratitude and resilience I witnessed from that project continue to inspire me every day and this November, I have the privilege of returning to Rwanda with B2P to do it all again — another community needs a bridge and I need your help!

This mission is personal and hands-on. I’ll be on the ground, physically working alongside locals and witnessing the impact in real time.
