Hi all!! My name is Marco Cesario, and during the summer of 2017, I decided to spend 3-weeks of volunteering and community services in Esikoma County in Kenya.

During this experience, I have had the opportunity to meet a wonderful community of people, full of joy and purity.

Unfortunately, in the entire ESIKOMA County, there is not a single hospital, and sick people have to travel 2 hours when they are sick, with most people that cannot even afford that.

The next year, together with Gabriel Musundi, one of the heads of the community, we managed to obtain a construction permit from the local government and we have been building the hospital ever since.

 

As you can see from the photos and videos posted, we have almost finished building it, but now we need to buy the equipment to get the license!!

 

HERE IS WHERE I AM ASKING FOR YOUR HELP!

A visit from the ministry of health is scheduled to be in March, and we need to buy all the equipment (medical beds, a certain number of machinery) before the deadline!

 

Any support is greatly appreciated, and I will share with you any progress we will make until we can finally open the hospital to the community
