I started my real estate development company in 2009, building homes like many others in the industry. Everything changed when a close friend and his wife, after years of hard work and saving, were on the verge of becoming the first homeowners in their families. Tragically, his wife fell ill and passed away, and the dream of homeownership seemed out of reach for him and his children, despite his steady income. The high cost of housing had priced them out of the market, a reality faced by so many hardworking people today.
Witnessing their struggle inspired me to take a different approach. We were able to build a home that my friend could afford, making him and his children the first homeowners in their family. This experience opened my eyes to the urgent need for affordable housing and motivated me to help others in similar situations. Our mission is to close the gap by building quality, premium homes at price points 20-30% below market comparables, making homeownership attainable for more families.
We work closely with local nonprofits and organizations like NACA, and we only build when we have a preapproved, ready end buyer in place. The funds raised will go directly toward initial construction costs—permits, approvals, ground utilities, and site preparation. By partnering with local landowners, we’re able to build on donated land and share profits at closing, ensuring that every project benefits the community.
