IFHOHYP is an international NGO that is dedicated to the hard of hearing young people throughout the world and is independent of sex, race, religion, nationality and politics. Our greatest priority is improving the quality of life and promoting equal rights for those hard of hearing at all levels of society.

IFHOHYP aims to support the development of a future global society where hard of hearing young people will have equal opportunities, with appropriate support, to be integrated into the community and viewed as contributing members. Therefore, in order to carry on with a strong voice to raise our visibility worldwide, and as face-to-face meetings were no longer an option due to the pandemic, online meetings became more crucial for our much needed peer-support from all over the world.
