BUILDING A WELL AND PHARMACY FOR THE VILLAGERS

My footsteps begins with my ancestors: my great grand father, Nabikanyula, then followed by my grandpa, Elasto kigozi muyinda and my father the late Mr. Herbert Mpanga, whom were all born , raised in Kataba, worked as farmers, with an exception of my father. My father left the village and went to Kampala the Capital city of Uganda where he supported him self throughout his academic years with some odd jobs, then went to business school and graduated, and also managed the importation of Japanese cars from Japan to Kampala. He did start a family, of his own. I was his eldest child and he was also able to send me to school in USA, with all tuition paid for at University of Miami, school of nursing, in Florida, which has lead me to become the nurse I am today.

One of my father's major dreams during his life time was to develop some part of his land. He wanted to introduce water and electricity into that part of the village with some of the land he had inherited from my grandpa. Unfortunately he died in 1999 at the age of 55 before he had fulfilled his dream, after battling pancreatic cancer..

So how do I come into picture? As my fathers' eldest child, I'm trying to awaken my father's dream. Utilize an acre of some of my land, which had been passed down on to me, build a well, to provide clean water supply for the villagers living nearby including some of my family pictured with me, my aunty, my self in the middle and my cousin. In addition to the well, would also like to build a pharmacy which will provides off counter medications, such as but not limited to anti diarrhea, aspirins, anti malarial, mosquito repellant, vitamins, especially off the counter medications. NO PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS WILL BE ADMINISTERED. All in all, it will be easy for the villagers to have access in that area, to a clean water supply and also ease them of the troubles of walking miles to fetch water , plus allow them easy access to nearest pharmacy, for some medication they may need.

My overall goal is to be able to raise 9,000 usd in order to be able to accomplish the above goals. Please your contributions in order to meet my goals will be very appreciated.
