My name is Jenna and I am the co-founder and CEO of Wildflowers & Wings, a brand new non-profit organization in Clinton County, Iowa. We believe that pregnant mothers struggling with addiction are one of the most fragile and unassisted demographics in our region. Our goal is to become a 501C3 Non Profit and purchase a property in Clinton County, Iowa to become our main shelter and hub. Prenatal mothers who are currently dealing with addiction may be referred to our organization where, if accepted, they will be placed in our residential sober living facility. They will remain with us working the program and after giving birth will have the opportunity to return with their baby and work a long term 9-18 month program helping them to maintain sobriety, feel supported, be given resources and opportunities for independence and success.

There are very limited resources for pregnant women struggling with addiction everywhere, but especially in rural Midwest USA. We aim to fill that gap and create healthy success stories to ensure that the future of Iowa is bright.

We are currently crowdfunding so that we are able to afford to file for our 501C3 so that we can get the gears turning and start making a difference in our community! We also need to hire a professional to assist us with ensuring that our business and financial plans are solid so that we can begin the process of finding and opening our residential facility.
