Building a respite Centre for disabled kids in The Gambia

Donation protected
Want to join me in making a difference? I’m raising money to build a respite centre for disabled kids in Sanyang The Gambia.
The land has been purchased quotes and plans from the builders obtained.
To fence the land, put in a borehole and build a multipurpose hall with kitchen physio room sensory room is £110000.
Workings are on the exchange rate of D86 to the pound.
Currently the rate is D93 to the pound and we have so far raised £5300.
The fence will commence in March 2026 and the borehole sunk and we will build in stages as funds allow.
Eddie is one of the kids who will benefit. His mother fled from his father when he was a baby as his father was a serious risk to Eddie due to his disability.
A previous respite centre sadly closed.
We aim to provide respite for the parents to allow them to work.
A safe environment for the kids where we can provide good meals physio and monitoring where needed and tailor learning to their abilities.
Once operational we will look at building a residential block to enhance the service.
We have qualified staff who know the children and we want to pay staff well to enhance the care we will provide.
