Respected brothers and sisters in Islam,

By the mercy and grace of Allah (SWT), we have made the sincere intention to help build a Masjid for the local Muslim community in Goyghor Porbo, Raipur, Kamalpur Union, Moulvibazar, Bangladesh, InshaAllah.

Alhamdulillah, the land for the Masjid has already been donated as Waqf (Islamic endowment), meaning the land is permanently dedicated for the house of Allah. This is a huge blessing and means every donation will go directly towards constructing the Masjid itself.

Current Progress

Alhamdulillah, the foundations of the Masjid have already been completed, and construction has begun.

We are currently raising £6,000 to complete the first floor of the mosque.

The total estimated cost to complete the entire Masjid to the standard shown in the pictures is approximately £30,000.

Every contribution brings us closer to completing a house of Allah that will serve the community for generations.

Why This Masjid Is Needed

This village is a deprived area with no nearby mosque.

Many children currently have to walk over 1 kilometre every day just to reach the nearest mosque (Moktab) to learn Qur’an and basic Islamic education.

Because of the distance, many children miss lessons and lose valuable years of learning.

This Masjid will provide:

• A place for the five daily prayers

• A Qur’an learning centre for local children

• A community hub for Islamic education

• A place to strengthen faith, knowledge and unity

A Masjid is the heart of every Muslim community, where people gather to worship Allah and increase their knowledge of Islam.

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”

(Bukhari & Muslim)

Funds are also needed for:

• Electrical wiring

• Interior and exterior painting
