Building a house for the homeless in Jamaica
Donation protected
Salutations everyone!
I'm Ryan and on the 13th January i turn the big 3,0...
Its mad i know, I look much younger hehe (i give the Farda thanks)
I've decided I don't want to receive any gifts for my birthday but I would love your support in making a dream of mine come true: instead of receiving a gift, I want to give a life-changing gift to somebody else in need 'backayard' - my grandparents' nation of Jamaica.
Jamaica has always had a very special place in my heart! I've always drawn heavily from its rich culture and colourful history. What people scarcely ever know about this beautiful island is that its actually a third world country, the depths of poverty experienced there is heartbreaking. I want to continue playing my part in doing something about this and I'd love if you could help me.
I'm going to walk/cycle 300 miles in the month of January that's 100 miles for each decade i've been alive to raise £5,000 (1 million Jamaican dollars) to build a house for a homeless person.
100% of the donations will go to a charity I support called JamaicaLifeNice! This charity takes care of the destitute in a place called St.Elizabeth (where my mum's family originate from) They build sustainable houses, farm fruits and vegetables, feed the hungry and help kids with their education.
They are a legitimate award winning charity whose journey you can follow on their YouTube page:
Thanks for reading this half novel and thanks in advance for your support.
Theres no donation too small (or too large ).
Much Love
