Building a Gurdwara In Red Deer

For the past 15 years, Red Deer Sangat has

been renting a community hall once a month

to do Gurdwara programmes. Pathi Singh

and Maharaj ji's Saroop travel from

Edmonton every month. In the past few

years, the Red Deer sangat has grown

exceptionally, and we are working on

building a Gurdwara Sahib. The growing

Sangat is one of the many reasons why Red

Deer needs a Gurdwara Sahib. In the

winter, it is very challenging for Pathi Singh

and Maharaj ji's Saroop to travel down to

Red Deer on snowy cold days, and it is very

tough for the Sangat to travel to Calgary or

Edmonton to go to Gurdwara Sahib. Having

a Gurdwara Sahib in Red Deer will be very

beneficial to the local Sangat and provide

support to our international students and

elderly. The younger generation can get

involved in events and activities often and

learn more about Sikhi.

The Red Deer Sangat ( Red Deer Sikh Community ) is reaching out to you and asking for your

support. Any donation made by you will be

very helpful in achieving this goal and building a Sikh Gurudwara Temple in Red Deer.

The funds will be transfered into the Gurudwara Account ( The Temple Account) and will be used for purchasing the building to start the Gurudwara ( Temple)

ਪਿਛਲੇ 15 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ, ਰੈੱਡ ਡੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਹਾਲ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਤੇ ਲੈ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਐਡਮਿੰਟਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੈੱਡ ਡੀਅਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪਾਠੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਰੈੱਡ ਡੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਧੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਵਧ ਰਹੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰੈੱਡ ਡੀਅਰ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਦੀ ਜਰੂਰਤ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੈ। ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਰਫੀਲੇ ਠੰਡੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਠੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਰੈੱਡ ਡੀਅਰ ਲਿਆਊਣ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੈਲਗਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਐਡਮਿੰਟਨ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜਾਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਔਖਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰੈੱਡ ਡੀਅਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸੰਗਤ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਲਾਹੇਵੰਦ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਅਕਸਰ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਣ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਰੈੱਡ ਡੀਅਰ ਸੰਗਤ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਦਾਨ ਇਸ ਟੀਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
