My name is Kenzo Biyong.
I am a father and the caregiver of Mitchel, a young man with autism who lives with my family and me.
Mitchel originally lived in a care institution, where he struggled deeply. He became increasingly withdrawn and began harming himself. Over time, it became clear that he only found calm and safety when he was with us. What started as extra support slowly grew into a deeper understanding of what Mitchel truly needed: a calm, family environment.
That is how he came to live with us.
Living with Mitchel every day has shown me how important stability, structure, and human care are. Many care systems are impersonal, while people like Mitchel thrive in calm, family environments where they feel seen and understood.
My long term vision is to build a small, family based care home where Mitchel, my sister, and a few other children and young people with special needs can live, grow, and feel truly at home as part of our family.
We want to help more people like Mitchel by creating a safe, family based home where they feel welcome, protected, and accepted for who they are.
This fundraiser represents the first step toward that future. It is about building a place where care feels like family.
Thank you for supporting this journey by donating or sharing.
