building a dog park pavilion
Donation protected

My name is Jacob Cattey. I am a Life Scout in Troop 3 from Torrington Connecticut. I have been in scouts for 6 years now and I have always wanted to be an Eagle Scout.
To become an Eagle Scout you need to complete all the requirements for each rank. My last requirement is to complete an eagle project that will benefit the community. My project is to build a pavilion for the dog park in my community.
Right now there is a lot of sunlight that hits the dog park and in the summer it can get really hot. The pavilion will allow the dog owners to relax in the shade and talk with other dog owners while the dogs play. The pavilion will help protect the owners from rain too. The structure will be built so both the small dog area and large dog area can benefit.
My dog goes there almost every day and loves it. He has a great time playing with his friends while the owners conversate with each other. The dog park is a great addition to our community and I feel that the pavilion would be a great addition to make it even better.

Due to covid there are restrictions on the traditional methods of fundraising. So I am asking for your help to raise $4000. The money will go towards the groundwork and building materials for the structure.
I will be building the pavilion early spring depending on the weather. Family, friends and troop members are helping me build the pavilion.
Lastly I want to say thank you for your consideration and donations, they are very much appreciated.
