Highland Shores Neighborhood in Ellenton, Florida collects $25 to $50 per home in our neighborhood in lieu of having an HOA. The funds collected are used for the betterment of our neighborhood. We have 3 entrances with signs to our neighborhood that require electricity and maintenance on a monthly to annual basis.

We would also use funds to install additional street lights and sidewalks or whatever the majority of our neighbors vote for. We will collect all ideas for projects to be financed on our FB page. We will then use online voting methods for each household to cast 1 vote per project.

The winning project will get bids from licensed and insured contractors to complete. We may also use volunteer neighborhood tradespeople in our community to save money.
