In the heart of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), 110 children are waiting for a safe place to call home. These children—many of whom have lost their parents to conflict, poverty, or illness—deserve more than survival. They deserve love, dignity, and a chance to grow in a nurturing environment.
What We Are Building
We are committed to creating two orphanages that will be more than just buildings. They will be safe, nurturing homes where every child has:
- A bed to sleep in
- Clean water to drink
- A kitchen for daily meals
- Electricity powered by solar energy
- Bathrooms and sanitation facilities that respect their dignity
- A learning room where children can study, grow, and dream
These orphanages will be spaces of love and care, designed to help children grow, learn, and thrive.
The Orphanages
- Centre de Prise en charge des orphelins de Kinshasa (CEPROKIN) – Located in N’sele, this orphanage is home to 75 children. We have already secured the land here, and construction has begun. With your support, we can complete the work and fully equip the facility.
- Maison de l’Espoir – Located in N’djili, this orphanage currently cares for 35 children. Unfortunately, no land has been secured yet, and the children are at urgent risk of displacement. The current living conditions are extremely critical, with serious risks of illness. Finding and securing land for this orphanage is one of our most pressing needs.
Progress Already Made
At CEPROKIN (N’sele), land ownership is secured and construction is underway. Architectural planning has begun, and we are now in the replanning and rebuilding stage. With your help, construction can move forward quickly. For Maison de l’Espoir (N’djili), we urgently need resources to secure land so that the children can be relocated from unsafe living conditions into a dignified home.

- Dormitories where children can sleep safely
- Kitchen and dining hall for shared meals
- Bathrooms and sanitation facilities for health and hygiene

- Furniture including beds, mattresses, tables, chairs, and storage
- A solar power system to provide reliable electricity
- A clean water system with a well, pump, and storage tank
- A kitchen setup with stove, cooking utensils, and supplies
