Free Humanity Charity is being established in response to a pattern that appears repeatedly across countries, institutions, and sectors.

Many people experience harm not through overt abuse, but through process — delays, deflection, procedural rigidity, and the absence of accountability. When these experiences repeat across systems designed to support people, they stop being personal misfortunes and become structural conditions.

This charity is being built to address that gap.

We are at the foundational stage: creating the legal, safeguarding, and organisational structure required to responsibly offer education, pilot workshops, and safe pathways to legal and psychological support. This work must be done carefully and ethically before any scale or service delivery is possible.

The aim of Free Humanity Charity is not to replace existing services, but to:

improve understanding of systemic harm through education

support people in naming and contextualising their experiences

develop responsible, trauma-informed approaches to workshops and public learning

consult with legal and psychological professionals to establish clear boundaries and referral pathways

This initial fundraising phase supports:

safeguarding and governance frameworks

outreach and documentation

By building this foundation first, we ensure that future work is accountable, sustainable, and centred on dignity rather than urgency.
