A year ago, I became homeless for the first time — right here in Bend, Oregon. I've been living in motels ever since, working a physically demanding retail job while managing Hashimoto's disease. My two ESA cats, Pip and Squeak, have kept me going.

Before this happened to me, I worked nights at a local homeless shelter. I saw the system from the inside — and when it was my turn, I discovered how truly scattered and confusing the resources really are. That experience gave birth to Our Clear Haven.

I'm building a free mobile app with an AI guide named Crystal — a compassionate, voice-enabled navigator designed to speak plain language, point you to verified resources near you, and never make you feel judged. She's being built to work offline, for the exact moments when everything feels overwhelming. The app is in development, with its first launch planned for Central Oregon. The free resource directory is already live at ourclearhaven.org.

To launch this app, I need one thing first: stable housing. Getting off the motel treadmill lets me leave my retail job and build full-time. Your support goes directly toward:
