I'm raising funds for FirstAid Forward, my personal initiative to make basic first-aid supplies more accessible to people who may not always have them nearby. I started this effort after realizing how easily a small injury can become a bigger problem when someone does not have simple essentials on hand. Items like bandages, gauze, medical tape, gloves, and antiseptic wipes may seem small, but having them available can make a real difference in someone's ability to care for an injury.

I wanted to create something practical that could directly help people in my community and beyond. Through FirstAid Forward, I'm working to build affordable first-aid kits and get them into the hands of communities and individuals who may not always have access to these resources. This is about turning a simple idea into action and making support tangible, one kit at a time.

Our first Kit Build Day is August 28, when student volunteers will come together to assemble our first 30 kits. But I do not want to stop at 30. Donations made now will help us purchase supplies in advance so volunteers can build more kits and so we can distribute additional kits at upcoming events.

• First-aid supplies such as bandages, gauze, medical tape, gloves, and antiseptic wipes
• Kit materials like pouches and packaging to organize and protect supplies
• Assembly materials needed to prepare, label, and quality-check each kit
• Distribution costs, including transportation to get completed kits to community organizations and healthcare initiatives
